BTCV is a national conservation charity. The York branch employs a Community Education Project Officer covering North and East Yorkshire. Services provided include environmental education activity sessions for schools, producing teaching aids and packs, design and construction of school nature areas, presentations on conservation and volunteering and training in a broad range of land-based skills.
