The Higher Level Scheme and Countryside Stewardship Scheme are schemes run by Natural England which make payments to farmers and land managers to conserve and enhance the natural environment. One option within these schemes is educational access. This option enables farmers or land managers to be paid when they allow a minimum of four free visits per year on their land from one or more educational groups.
