FWAG is a UK-wide organisation with offices based locally in North and East Yorkshire and in the West Riding (South and West Yorkshire). Our advisers provide conservation advice and information to help farmers and land managers to care for the countryside. FWAG advocates the whole farm approach, undertaking a detailed analysis of wildlife and habitat. The farmer receives a report with recommendations for short and long term management. FWAG organises events and training and operate memberships schemes.
The FWAG demonstration farm at Knaresborough, North Yorkshire, sponsored by YAS, is available for visits and we may be able to help schools and colleges find local farms to visit.
